Terms of Service

- Billing -
This is a prepay recurring service subscription. We require all accounts keep a credit or debit card on file. We charge a flat monthly rate that is calculated by multiplying your weekly rate by 52 and dividing by 12. A $5 per month fuel charge will be applied to all invoices. Payment is processed on the first of each month. If payment has not been processed before the first service of the month you service will be paused until payment is received. If your service is paused, you will still be charged paused weeks. If more than 2 weeks goes by before payment is received and service is restored, additional bag fees may be charged. Customers are responsible for notifying the office of any changes in the number of dogs or about any guest dog
. - Access -
Gate access is required. Your gate must be unlocked and in good working order. If a lock is used, an inline combination lock is required. We are happy to provide a lock to ensure access. If a technician arrives and is unable to service your yard due to an aggressive dog, obstructed access, locked gate, or gate in state of disrepair you will still be charged for the visit. There will be twice the amount of waste for us to pick up on the next clean up.To ensure best quality service lawns should be mowed on a regular basis and leaves and debris picked up. If we cannot see it, we cannot scoop it. Please also address other safety concerns like low hanging tree branches and trip hazards like unrolled hoses and other obstacles.

- Aggressive Dogs and Vaccination -
We do not service yards with aggressive dogs. If your dog does not jump on or bark constantly at the technician, it is ok for them to be in the yard during service. If the technician feels uncomfortable your dog will have to stay indoors at time of service. We do keep treats on us while scooping. If you do not want us to give your dog(s) treats (Blue Buffalo Apple & Yogurt Health Bars) please let us know. Dogs must be up to date on vaccinations.

- Tools and Disposal -
After service the poop is bagged and placed in your trash receptacle. During summer months we will double bag upon request. If you prefer not to have the waste placed in the trash can, we can provide a lidded bucket that can be placed in a convenient location for you to dispose of on garbage day. We take safety seriously and are vigilant in our sanitizing processes. We use a kennel-grade product to clean and disinfect our tools and shoes between every job.
- Scheduling, Holidays and Weather -
Your service day is determined by how your address fits into our existing route schedule. For the most part your service day will stay the same. Ladybug Scoops has the right to adjust schedules based on service route changes. You will always be notified in advance of any changes to your service day. However, the time of day your service is completed cannot be guaranteed and will vary from week to week. We start as early as 7am.We work rain or shine and make every effort to complete your service on your scheduled day. If severe weather impacts our ability to make it to your property, we will make up the service as soon as possible. If your service is unable to be rescheduled prior to the next weeks service, you will still be charged because there will be twice as much waste to pick up on the next visit and it is twice as hard. We will always communicate any changes. Our technicians take one week off every year during the summer months. Our technicians do not work on Thanksgiving or Christmas. We do not credit for the missed service because there will be twice as much waste to pick up on the next visit and it is twice as hard.
- Canceling Service -
Our service is month to month. If service is no longer desired, please notify us before we start a new month of service. Credits will not be issued for partial months.
- Legal Stuff -
Although we try our hardest to prevent dogs from escaping, Ladybug Scoops, their employees, or contractors will not be held responsible for escaped dogs during or after service due to defective gates and/or latches, or if we have requested that your dog(s) remain inside during service. We will notify you if your gate needs repair. Ladybug Scoops does not assume any liability for damage made to gates, yards, pets, or any other property. We work hard to do our very best. However, we cannot guarantee we can find every pile every time. Waste that is soft, wet, mushy or diarrhea type stool is difficult to remove, and these types of waste may leave residue. By initiating service, you agree to the above terms and responsibilities. You give Ladybug Scoops, its employees, and contractors permission to enter your premises to perform services. You authorize Ladybug Scoops to charge your credit card on file on the 1st of any given month. You agree to hold harmless and waive all claims against Ladybug Scoops unless arising from gross negligence on the part of the company.
